Members are to maintain a standard of dress commensurate with the dignity of the Club and are to ensure that their visitors maintain the same standards.

The professional shop staff, management, clubhouse staff or any member of the Board may refuse access to the course and/or clubhouse to any person not complying with the minimum standards.  The mere fact that a person's dress complies with these regulations does not necessarily mean that it is acceptable.

Smartness, neatness and cleanliness are the inflexible standard.  Neat casual wear is acceptable for all Club functions and private events unless otherwise stipulated.

Men

  • Clothing must be appropriate for golf and within the clubhouse.
  • Shirts must have collars and sleeves; polo/ mock collars and skivvies are acceptable. Shirts must be tucked in at all times on the golf course.
  • Trousers and shorts must be tailored and be worn with a belt.
  • Short socks must be plain white or plain white with a golf club logo. Long socks must be kept up.
  • Soft spiked golf shoes are essential for play.
  • In the dining room, jacket and tie or neat casual wear is acceptable.
  • In the clubhouse socks must be worn with shorts. Soft spike shoes are acceptable.  (Special function notices will prescribe the appropriate attire)
  • In the Clubhouse:
       *   Socks are optional with shoes in the clubhouse.
       *   Soft spiked shoes are acceptable.
       *   Golf shirts must be tucked in at all times.
       *   Dress shirts, which are designed to be worn out, are acceptable.
       *   Sunday afternoon - after 4pm: Dress Jeans may be worn in the clubhouse.

    The following is unacceptable :
  • Cargo and army style shorts or pants with external pockets, full elastic or drawstring waists, denim jeans, 3/4 length shorts and denim.
  • Advertising logos unless understated.
  • T-shirts, tracksuits, sand shoes, joggers, sandals or rubber thongs.
  • Metal Spikes.

Women

  • Shorts and skirts must be not less than mid thigh in length.
  • Soft spiked golf shoes are essential for play.
  • Sunday afternoon - after 4pm: Dress Jeans may be worn in the clubhouse.

    The following is unacceptable :
  • Denim jeans / skirts / shorts, cargo style shorts or pants with external pockets, abbreviated shorts or skirts, elastic or drawstring waisted pants / shorts/ tight fitting stretch clothing.
  • Advertising logos unless understated.
  • T-shirts, tracksuits, sand shoes, joggers or rubber thongs

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones may NOT be used on the course or in the clubhouse.  They must be switched off or set to silent mode.  Mobile phones may be used only in the car park or on the balcony adjacent to the Member's Lounge.  At all times respect the rights and comfort of fellow members, especially when on the balcony near the 10th tee.
